When it comes to recording music, the sound has to be great before you start capturing it. I provide a space where you can be comfortable and confident enough to perform at the best of your ability, so that my job as an engineer is to capture the performance, and do less fixing later. I love recording bands and individual musicians and have lots of experience recording drums.
I can help mix tracks that you’ve recorded yourself or at another studio. There are a lot of things that can be done in the mixing process with the technology and tools available today, from vocal tuning, drum replacement to audio repair and restoration. My overall goal is to enhance the emotion and impact of your song, with whatever tools necessary. Each song is unique and deserves a unique approach.
Do you want to turn your song idea into a fully finished production? I can write parts, play drums, guitar, bass, keys and other instruments on your song and work with you to get the sound you’re hearing in your head.
I love teaching other passionate individuals about production, audio, technology and songwriting. Before moving to Oregon, I taught professionally at the Musicians Institute College of Contemporary music. If you want to learn more about audio and recording music, I’d be happy to help!
